Please Read Before Registering!

NSYB League is open to all 2nd - 6th grade boys in the North Scott schools, consisting of games which run from late October to early December on Monday nights at the North Scott Junior High. Games are one hour and the teams typically consist of 8 to 10 boys per team that play against other teams of the same grade. Usually there are 4 to 6 teams per grade level, depending on the size of the class. Teams are split up as evenly as possible. 

 

The registration fee for NSYB is $35. This includes receiving a red/white reversible jersey for League games.

2nd-6th grade - ALL should register (all will play League, those wishing to be considered for a travel team will make that known in the sign-up). (Most travel tournaments in basketball start at 3rd grade. 2nd grade travel teams may be able to find a limited number of tournament opportunities, or play in a League in the QC area). Registration fee is non refundable even in the event your child is not offered a position on a travel team. 

 

7th-8th grade -  Only those 7th and 8th graders planning to try out for NS travel basketball will need to pay the $35 registration fee.

(7th -8th graders NOT wanting to play travel basketball can play basketball for the Junior High in Jan/Feb and do NOT need to register here and do NOT need to pay the registration fee).

2/3/4th grades: 5:30pm - 7:00 pm

5/6/7th grades: 7:00pm - 8:30 pm

Thursday Sep 8th

8th grade: 7:30pm - 8:45pm
